What does not kill you makes you stronger – this is what I’ve heard many times. In these hard times, my perception has changed. Health is a fragile flower; at any moment it may perish; especially when is not cared enough.
The COVID-19 pandemic has reassured to all of us that life lasts only a brief moment compared to planet’s life span. The COVID-19 is by far a strange disease, it can end someone’s life in few days or it may be unnoticed. Luckily a large percentage of infected people find recovery, though sequels appear. Therefore, in a way our bodies are not as strong as they were before. During recovery period we are vulnerable to many other situations or things that we wouldn’t think of in the past.
This is a short reflection as recently few close family members have suffered COVID-19; some mild and some acute but fortunately all have recovered. I wish you all health and good recovery. This is a different blog entry for sure, but I want to share my thoughts on COVID-19 pandemic. I hope this is the first and last pandemic we are going to get through during our lives. God bless us all.
